Nina was born in Germany, grew up in Venezuela, and spent most of her young adult life living in Central America and Spain. In 1961 she and her family immigrated to Mequon, WI. Besides Classic skiing and hiking, her passion is Foreign Languages. After College graduation she became the Director of the Berlitz School of Languages, taught in the Spanish and German Departments at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a lecturer, and ended her career at Nicolet High School after teaching Spanish, German and French for 27 years.
In 1968 she represented the US at the “Cultural Olympics” in Mexico City as a member of the “Iberian Dancers.” This group, along with the “Harlem Ballet,” was one of only 2 groups selected to take part in these festivities.
In 2021 Nina moved to Frisco, Co. to retire, be closer to her 2 sons, enjoy the beautiful outdoors and join the Summit 50Plus Community.
